Long time no newsletter! (Unless you just joined us. In that case, welcome to your first lil Vega newsletter!)

We ARE open! All classes are being held as normal on Friday and Saturday, and on Monday there is an amended schedule:

6:30pm Beginning/Intermediate Hip Hop with Evie

7:30pm Intermediate Hip Hop with Allison

We are still plugging away at the lobby beautification process, and it's looking awesome. We just added a new feature in there in the form of a beverage cooler filled with bottled water, Coke, Diet Coke, tea, Powerade, V8 Fuzion and more, for sale at the front desk. It's not a vending machine, so you can purchase your drinks with your debit or credit card. Next up: a real-live dressing room!

Many of you have asked about the status of our tanning beds/services - and we have decided to hold off indefinitely on offering that, due to the new "tan tax" being imposed on tanning customers and salon owners. Basically, it would make it way more expensive for both of us, and it's just not what we were looking for when we had the bright idea to begin with. We mostly wanted to offer it as a cheap and easy way to tan every so often, in conjunction with your dance classes. Dancing is what we know and do best, so we will stick to that for now!

You might have seen the staff walking around with our new Vega team hoodies - Now you can have one, too! They are officially available for pre-order in Men's sizes S, M, L and XL in either Red or Heather Gray.  If you pre-order your hoodie, the cost is $38.00, and it's due at the time of your order. We will be placing the order with our printer next Friday. The regular price is $42, and we will have some in stock in about 3 weeks. Just in time for the chilly weather to return (or actually just get chillier than it already is).

Tuesday Night Hip Hop, 8pm - Our resident Save the Day Guy, Jon Sadony, is taking over the Tuesday Intermediate/Advanced Hip Hop class at 8pm. Jon's choreography and teaching style is truly unique and wonderful. He is great at teaching the Beginning/Intermediate levels, but can really challenge the dancer looking to be put to the test.

Thursday Night Hip Hop - Also at 8pm, this class is being taken over by Megan Flom. We. Love. Her. Seriously, her choreography makes me swoon with its originality, humor, and downright awesomeness.

We have decided on a fun new addition to the newsletter:

September's Featured Instructor - MEGAN FLOM!

This means that for the entire month of September, you can bring a friend to any of Megan's classes, for free. (The friend has to be new, and they get one class only. But you can bring a different friend each time if you want!) If you haven't already, you will fall in love with Megan's classes.

Thursday, 8pm - Int/Advanced Hip Hop

Friday, 6pm - Beginning/Intermediate Hip Hop

Saturday, Noon - Beginning/Intermediate Hip Hop

Many of you are asking for another Technique Workshop Series with Jon. Ask and you shall receive!

The series is six weeks, designed for beginners looking to learn proper form and basic skills so you can start your dance foundation off right! And there are even people who have taken this workshop in the past who are planning on doing it again! It's that good!

There are 30 spots open this time, and you can pre-register by paying in advance, either over the phone or in person at the front desk.

Begins Sunday, September 19 and runs every Sunday through October 24th.

Start time 11:30am

End time 1:00pm

Cost is $68, and payment in full is what holds your spot.
